  1. Would training Muay Thai once a week do any good?...I want to try it kaso once a week lang po ang kaya ko due to time constraints.

    Thanks.

  2. @kunganuanong: Sorry for late reply,'just read your comment. It will do some good, and perhaps the rest of the week you can shadow box for at at least 30 minutes/day anywhere else, more for fitness & recreation.Hopefully you can squeeze time to train at the gym 2x a week.= )

    TIA!

  5. hi Dimasalang....let me answer for Coach Karlo

you'll definitely need your own hand wraps....the Bull's brand only costs Php140-150 at Chris Sports

a good quality boxing gloves would costs you Php2,000-2500...may gloves naman na pwede gamitin sa gym...for starters kahit yung hand wraps lang muna bro

for your training outfit, you could wear a sando or tshirt for your upper...yung shorts mas maganda kung medyo maiksi at medyo maluwag para mas madaling kumilos when executing kicks and knees...may muay thai shorts na ngayon sa gym kaya kahit dun ka nalang umorder pag nag umpisa ka na

    i hope this helps

  6. Dimasalang, sorry if i wasn't able to give a quick reply.

I was in China for more than one week and I couldn't access this blog from there.

Anyway, kunganuanong basically gave a complete answer to your query.

So my thanks goes to you both and kitakits! = P

  7. Ano ang meaning ng SPRAWL?
    curious lang

    ReplyDelete
  8. SPRAWL definition:

Selected PRo fighters from Amateur Wrestling League

  9. Just inquired this morning (1.06.2011) and planning to join...do we have a rank here? the color of belt? and can we improve our rank? sorry, i really dont have any idea.

    ReplyDelete
  10. bro goodrichard wala tayong belt

ofcourse you'll start with the basics...if the instructor sees that you're ready for more complex combinations, hindi nila yun ipagkakait...your progress will depend on how fast you learn din...kung quick learner ka, marami ka agad matututunan...kung medyo mabagal ang pick up, hindi aapurahin ang training just for the sake na iba iba ang ituro sayo, instead pipinuhin muna ang mga galaw mo para ready ka na sa mga mas malulupit na ituturo

in the 3 months that i trained at SPRAWL Cubao, laging one on one ang sessions so ibig sabihin ay tutok sayo ang instructor...

to answer your questions for yourself, mag train ka na bro...i hope to see you soon

by the way nakapag start ka na ba?

  11. Sir,

Updated pa din po ba yung sched at rates?

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  12. bro Jabe no changes sa rates

btw may promo pala until the end of the month, instead na annual membership fee lang yung Php550, lifetime membership na if you sign up until January 31

  13. Sige sir.

Balak namin talaga magstart ng training sa February pa, pero baka dumaan kami this coming week bago matapos promo niyo. Magtetext din muna kami sir pag pupunta na.

    ReplyDelete
  14. sir 2hours ba talaga every session tapos 1 on 1 pa?

    ReplyDelete
  15. bro sriver yes 2 hours ang training session

after being trained, you are free to stay at the gym to lift weights and/or do some bag work

in my three months of training, isang beses ko palang naranasan na may kasabay ako mag train...halos kasabay ko kasi dumating yung isang nag train din kaya pinag sabay na kami...but just the same, tutok padin ang training...other than that laging 1 on 1 training

  16. ahh nice! thanks sir, anong oras ba maganda mag walk in pag sat and sun? saka pano po ba commute papunta pag mangagaling sa UST espana?

    ReplyDelete
  17. from UST pwede mag FX or jeep na byaheng Cubao tapos baba ka sa EDSA...pag nasa EDSA ka na, pagtanong mo nalang kung saan yung terminal ng Five Star bus....opposite side nung terminal matatanaw mo na malaking tarp ng SPRAWL (image above) tapos tawid ka nalang sa overpass

anytime naman okay mag walk in...kung shy type ka ng very light, punta ka sa umaga para kunti palang tao

    ReplyDelete
  18. thanks sir! sige sir mag walk in ako mga morning saka beginner palang den kasi ako hehe, pano pala kung la pang mga gamit like gloves mag rrenta pa ba ng ganun dun?
